The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury

I scored an original 1951 hardcover copy on Amazon's used marketplace. The seller had not indicated it was anything special and perhaps it wasn't really. But it is in great shape and for 5 bucks I thought it was a good deal.  I cut my teeth on reading science fiction growing up.  :D

I like to think that after they put a pillow over my face, my great-grand kids will read it someday.  :)

The Illustrated Man was required reading in English class in high school along with Fahrenheit 451 and 1984, three books I liked reading. The film version of The Illustrated Man wasn't quite as good as the book as I don't think the subset of stories from the original book that they selected for the film translated well. The book seemed to have more life to it.
